Oh man...they whitewashed us too? I thought they just did that to the Asian-Americans in "21" (that Kevin Spacey movie based on some math prodigy that kicked ass in Vegas). But then, Dingdong Dantes kind of does look like Casper Van Dien...
neal stephenson's cryptonomicon was set in the philippines (well the present-day story). neil gaiman hints a pinoy is supposedly a member of the evil council of villains in the graveyard book.
