i once ran a marathon.
this was the route in golden gate park, san francisco.
when i last checked, there seemed to no longer be an association between the marathon organizers and the cartoonist. (i.e. it was just another marathon)

isn't the "run to the far side" a 5-10K run? like bay to breakers? if it's a real marathon though - that's really impressive! i didn't realize you were the marathon running type.
i used to run all the time to get thin but i'm not a "marathon guy." i actually believe they aren't good for your health.
i just did it to get the shirt.
i thought marathon was a convenient word. i guess i could change it to "10k run"
